Our Mezcal

Durango de La Nueva Vizcaya, one of the largest regions founded in the viceregal era, which despite syncretism still preserves many of the indigenous cultures and traditions.
This State is a land of mezcal because in its vast territory a great diversity of native and endemic agaves is preserved, among which the agave durangensis or maguey cenizo, the tepemete and the agave castilla, among others, stand out.
From the agave duranguensis one of the most precious distillates of the region is extracted mainly in Nombre de Dios and Mezquital, since the vintners still retain their traditional production methods, which is why the mezcal of the Durango region is one of the richest and most prized in the north of our country.
Beso al Cielo is born from its entrails, respecting legacies, identities and the tradition of the great vintners today called Maestros Mezcaleros.
